Winehome is a boutique, business-to-business company specializing in the delivery of premium Australian wine direct to your international customers. Our fully inclusive service ensures that the producers and retailers we partner with can concentrate on what they do best - making and selling great wine - while we take all of the pain away from international delivery.
Based in Melbourne, but serving all of Australia’s wine regions, we have considerable experience in the Direct to International Consumer market and will work with you to develop this increasingly important channel.
Although our strength is getting your wine to your customer, we are wine people ourselves with experience in cellar door and retail sales, vineyard and winery work. That experience means that while we understand the challenges you face we’re also well placed to realise the opportunities that the direct channel provides.
Our team holds vast expertise and experience in export, logistics and wine sales. As wine people it’s in our blood to care about your wine and your relationship with your customer.

Having gained formal Wine Science qualifications in 2010 (University of Auckland) I moved to
Melbourne and have been lucky enough to work in a variety of roles within the wine industry. From
retail sales, to production, domestic winemaking stints in the Yarra Valley and Mornington Peninsula
as well as international placements in New Zealand, Orgeon and Burgundy.
This practical experience combined with a background in product management and marketing lead to me establish Winehome Australia in 2014, with the expressed intent of helping premium Australian producers develop a presence in the direct to international consumer market.
My time working with Australian producers in particular has made me a passionate advocate for the quality and diversity of premium Australian wine, and fuelled a desire to help local producers get their wine to an ever-growing community of international customers wanting to try the best Australia has to offer.
Favourite wines: Aged Riesling and Semillon, Pinot Noir from all the great regions, and not forgetting great Australian Cabernet and Shiraz.
I have developed extensive experience in most aspects of the wine industry since commencing in 1992 in Cellar Door sales in Australia's Hunter Valley (NSW). My formal Qualification in Wine Marketing (University of Adelaide-Roseworthy Campus) enabled me to progress my career to senior management level within several NZ wineries.
In late 1999 with our 1st defence of the Americas Cup looming I founded the countries first N.Z. Wine
Makers Centre in downtown Auckland.
Over a 6 year period my team and I developed a successful business with a significant portion of sales being exported directly to international consumers. In 2006 I sold the wine sales side of the business to Glengarry Hancocks, I rebranded the export side as "winehome". Since then my focus has been on ensuring winehome earns a respected position as being the Leading provider of "direct to international consumer" sales solutions. Everything we do is directed towards working in partnership with wineries and wine retailers to maximise their direct to int. consumer sales.
I sincerely appreciate of the support and relationships that we hold across the industry. If you're currently not one of our customers please don’t hesitate to call, without any obligation. We're always happy to discuss any aspects and questions you may have.
Favourite wine: Gewürztraminer, anything fat and rich with some bottle age to keep up with my favourite hot & spicy Asian Cuisine!
Whilst studying for a Bachelor of Horticultural Science I never imagined I’d end up exporting wine, despite completing a project on the wine industry at the time. Floriculture was my preference and lead me to various positions in NZ and overseas including managing a flower export business. Having two children was the turn of events that lead me to wine! I joined winehome over 6 years ago bringing administration and logistics skills and experience from having exported a very perishable product which faces similar challenges of packaging and temperature management as wine. I continue to get great satisfaction in striving to provide an excellent quality service to wineries and consumers. After hours I seem to run a taxi service for two (or more) children but if there is a moment to relax then I enjoy sharing it with a Pinot Gris.
